Driving Force Events, the organiser of the Gulf 12 Hours, has announced a new winter endurance event for February 2024 which will be held at Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
The two-day event will be open to all GT cars (touring cars and prototypes are not permitted), and all drivers with a national licence.
To ensure this event appeals a large number of teams and drivers and in particular, anyone planning to compete in the Gulf 12 Hours later this year, Driving Force has put together what it believes is an attractive package.
This includes integrated logistics with the Gulf 12 Hours, cost-effective accommodation and hospitality options and free entry promotions for early entrants, competitors in the Gulf 12 Hours or Yas 6 Hours events in Abu Dhabi, and the winners of many European and national series.
The format and duration of the race, which is scheduled to take place the weekend after the Rolex 24 Hours in the old Bathurst 12 Hour calendar slot, has not yet been revealed. More information on the event is set to be revealed on September 8th.
