Alpine in blue
The Alpine A424 has been out testing in blue for the first time at Jerez, after running in bare carbon during its previous tests. This run follows a recent test at Aragon in which the team completed 1,500 kilometres over two days.
Multiple sources have suggested that amongst the drivers turning laps in the A424 was former Formula One driver Mick Schumacher, who is in talks to join the team for 2024.

Briscoe to race with Vanwall in Bahrain
The Floyd Vanwall Racing Team has revealed that Ryan Briscoe will compete alongside Esteban Guerrieri and Tristan Vautier in its Vandervell 680 Hypercar in the final WEC race of the season in Bahrain.
Briscoe, who competed with Glickenhaus at Sebring, Portimao and Le Mans earlier in the season, takes the seat previously filled by João Paulo de Oliveira. Oliveira raced with the team for Monza and Fuji but isn’t available for Bahrain due to a conflict with his racing commitments in Japan.
“I’m pleased to be joining the team for the final round of the 2023 World Endurance Championship,” said Briscoe. “I’d like to thank Dr Colin Kolles for the opportunity and look forward to my first laps in the Vandervell 680.”
