Toyota Gazoo Racing has revealed its new-for-2024 corporate livery for the pair of GR010 Hypercars that will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The same basic matt black-based colour scheme will also feature on cars run by the brand in other competitions including the company’s successful cars in the World Rally Championship.
The 2024 livery marks the fourth major palette change for the brand’s top-class sports prototypes since the programme’s inception in 2012.
Presented originally in red and white during public presentations and testing, the factory team’s TS030 LMP1 Hybrid then surprised almost everyone, turning up at its debut race at Le Mans in blue and white livery.
The same colours served the programme through the to the end of the 2015 season aboard the TS030 and TSO40 (pictured above) with the switch then made to the same basic colour scheme that has serve the factory team ever since.
That change came with the debut of the TS050 in 2016 and continuing into the Hypercar era, albeit with stylistic changes, aboard the GR010 from 2021.
