Proton Competition have confirmed the full driver line-ups for their two car, two class effort that the Rolex 24 at Daytona later this month.
After taking a double win in 2023 at the IMSA season opener in LMP2 and GTD Pro (fielding the WeatherTech Racing AMG effort), the German squad will be making their debuts in both of the other classes in the 2024 race.
In GTP, Romain Dumas and Alessio Picariello will join the already announced Gianmaria Bruni and Neel Jani at Daytona in the Mustang Sampling-backed #5 Porsche 963.
In GTD the team’ brand new First Phorm-backed #55 Ford Mustang GT3 will be raced at Daytona by Ford Factory driver Dennis Olsen (Daytona Only), 2023 ELMS Champion Ryan Hardwick (Michelin Endurance Cup) and the full season IMSA pairing of Corey Lewis and Giammarco Levorato.
