#60 Iron Lynx Lamborghini To GTD Pro
The #60 Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 is moving from GTD to GTD Pro, in a revised provisional entry list for the Roar Before The 24 at Daytona this weekend.
The line-up of Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni, and newly minted Lamborghini factory drivers Matteo Cairoli and Romain Grosjean has been deemed by IMSA to be more appropriately placed in the Pro class.
GTD Pro is now up to 13 cars with the presence of both Iron Lynx Huracáns, while the GTD class comes down to 23 cars.
Schiavoni, the Bronze-rated driver of the #60, will only have to complete a minimum of two hours during the race per the GTD Pro sporting regulations versus four hours and 30 minutes in GTD.
However, a new rule in the IMSA Sporting Regulations for this season will only allow teams to make one change of class per category (series) during the year, subject to IMSA’s discretion. This is in response to a handful of GTD Pro and GTD teams changing between the two classes in 2023.

Madison Snow named BMW Factory Driver

Tower and Inception Reveal Rolex 24 Liveries
Both the LMP2 Oreca of Tower Motorsport and the GTD class McLaren 720S GT3 Evo of Inception Racing have had their Rolex 24 Hours liveries revealed, the #8 Oreca featuring a livery with more orange and less black/grey than previously – and the McLaren with a new take on the red and black theme of previous seasons with a very prominent ‘Bee’ theme!
