Porsche Hypercar customer team Proton Competition has revealed a striking heritage livery for its #99 963 ahead of the 2024 FIA WEC season opener next month.
The car, which is set to be driven by Neel Jani, Harry Tincknell and Julien Andlauer this year, will run in the colours of Porsche’s 1994 Le Mans race-winning Dauer 962, celebrating the 30th anniversary of its achievement.

The white, red and black colour scheme is complete with FATurbo Express branding for the team’s second year competing in Hypercar with the German brand.
Proton’s #99 963 is set to race in the FIA WEC alongside the team’s new LMGT3 programme with the Ford Mustang GT3.
Notably, the Dauer 962 that Proton’s livery is based on was on display to the public and demonstrated at the 2024 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona back in January. (See below)

It was shared by Yannick Dalmas, Hurley Haywood and Mauro Baldi at La Sarthe.
