Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe (TGR-E) has appointed David Floury as its new Technical Director, a role he has fulfilled in on acting basis since early January, succeeding Pascal Vasselon in that position.
Vasselon moves to a new a strategic new role examining Toyota’s future global motorsport activities where he will work closely with Masaya Kaji, General Manager of the BR GT Business Department at GAZOO Racing Company.
Pascal’s new mission as Vice President TGR Strategic Motorsport Development begins immediately with a focus on carbon neutrality and hydrogen technology. He will lead TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s representation to the relevant governing bodies around the world.
TGR-E is the operational home of the WEC Hypercritical project and GT4 customer motorsports in Europe.
