The ‘Evo’ version of the BMW M4 GT3, destined for factory and customer competition in 2025, has been testing once again this week, with BMW M Motorsport revealing these pictures of the test mule running at the Nürburgring.
The new front end bodywork and mirrors are the clearest cues to the package of changes coming to the already successful GT3 platform.
There’s no news yet of a development race programme for the car ahead of customer sales in 2025.
Previously, BMW released images of the Evo testing alongside the M Hybrid V8 at Spa last September.
At that time Bruno Spengler, who was one of the drivers selected to test the car, was very complimentary of its improvements.
“The Evo represents progress in many areas compared to the current BMW M4 GT3,” he said.
“Drivability is a crucial factor, as well as tyre durability over longer distances. We definitely see improvements in this regard. The car is proving to be a true all-rounder.”
