Iron Lynx Proton ran fastest in Free Practice 2 todat at Paul Ricard ahead of ELMS Qualifying, with a 1:41.362 from Matteo Cairoli.
It was tight in LMP2 in the session, with six cars all lapping within a quarter of a second, with the #28 from IDEC Sport ending up second and the #14 AO by TF 07 completing the top three.
In LMP2 Pro/Am DKR Engineering initially set the pace after a hot lap from Laurents Horr, before Matthieu Vaxiviere toured the circuit in 1:42.154 to put the #83 AF Corse Ferrari to the top.
LMP3 saw RLR M Sport’s #15 top the times, heading up a 1-2-3 for the Ligier JS P320. The fastest Duqueine was the #12 from WTM by Rinaldi, which ended up fourth, almost a second off.
The quickest lap came from Gael Julien, a 1:50.189.
LMGT3 meanwhile was topped by a Ferrari 296 LMGT3, the #55 from Spirit of Race after a 1:54.892 set by David Perel.
Racing Spirit of Leman’s Aston Martin ended up setting an encouraging 1:55.001 with Valentin Hasse Clot to go second, ahead of the Iron Dames Porsche.
