Adam Smalley was quickest in a shortened Warm-Up at the 24 Hours of Spa, which was Red Flagged with 10 minutes to go in the planned 30 minute session for currently unknown reasons.
Smalley set a 2’15.487” in his #188 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, which will start from Bronze Cup pole position tomorrow.
Daniel Morad was second fastest aboard the PRO-class #48 Mann-Filter AMG GT3 Evo, 0.071” behind, with Loek Hartog (#97 Rutronik Porsche 911 GT3.R) and Ben Barnicoat (#5 Optimum McLaren 720S GT3 Evo) making it three Bronze Cup entries in the Top 4.
Yannick Mettler was quickest in the Silver Cup aboard the #3 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG, with Jann Mardenborough putting the #100 Team RJN McLaren to the top of Pro-Am.
62 of the 66 cars took to the track, with the exceptions including the defending winners in the #98 Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3.
The next time these cars take to the track will be for the Centenary Edition of the 24 Hours of Spa itself, with the race beginning at 15:30 local time tomorrow.
