Toyota Gazoo Racing has taken the wraps off its new GR Supra GT4 EVO2, which is set to debut in 2025 and aims to offer improvements in “performance, reliability, and operability”.
The new evo package for the Supra improves on the original model which was launched in 2020 and the first EVO which was introduced in time for the 2023 season, when Toyota made gains in the car’s braking, handling, and engine performance.
Since Toyota began selling the Supra as a GT4 model it has sold 120 units, with customers scoring more than 500 podium finishes and titles in Asia, the USA and Europe.
The new evo package features re-tuned ABS maps, a reduction in downshift time via a software update and improvements to engine, braking, drivetrain and cockpit cooling.
The GR Supra GT4 EVO2 is scheduled to make its world debut in January 2025 in the first round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, held in the build up to the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
GT4 sales and customer support (spare parts sales and technical support) will be handled by Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe GmbH in Europe, TRD U.S.A., Inc. in North America, Toyota Customizing and Development Co., Ltd. in Japan and other countries in Asia (excluding China), and Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in China.
The car has been priced at €202,000 and the order book already open to customers.
