Ford Performance has officially announced its retooled lineups for the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team in IMSA next season, with three new full-time drivers in the pair of factory-supported Ford Mustang GT3s.
2010 Le Mans 24 Hours and Daytona 24 Hours overall winner Mike Rockenfeller returns to drive the #64 Mustang as the only full-time driver from last season’s fleet returning for 2025. He will be joined by 23-year-old, second-generation racer Sebastian Priaulx, who joins Ford Multimatic Motorsports after two wins in six races driving for AO Racing in GTD Pro – before being pulled from the seat in advance of his new role with Ford.
The #65 Mustang, meanwhile, features a totally new lineup of German Christopher Mies and Belgian Frédéric Vervisch – who served as the team’s Michelin Endurance Cup drivers last season.
Ben Barker and Dennis Olsen will join the team in the five Michelin Endurance Cup rounds in 2025, with Barker in the #64 with Rockenfeller and Priaulx, and Olsen in the #65 with Mies and Vervisch.

This sense of camaraderie makes decisions about our roster challenging and deeply personal,” said Mark Rushbrook, Global Director of Ford Performance Motorsports.
“After closing out our debut IMSA season with the Mustang GT3 a month ago, the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team is focused on the 2025 season. This week we will be running at the traditional Daytona Test ahead of the first big race of 2025 and introducing our driver lineup – a blend of experience, youth, and exceptional talent.”
Today’s announcements confirm the departures of Harry Tincknell, Joey Hand, and Dirk Müller from the Ford Multimatic Motorsports line-up. “I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Joey, Dirk, and Harry for their invaluable contribution to the Mustang GT3’s journey,” Rushbrook said of the departing trio. “Their unrivalled expertise has been essential to the development of the Mustang GT3 and the hours they put in, pounding around race tracks across the US laid the groundwork for this race programme.”
With a special mention to Hand and Müller – who won at Le Mans in 2016 driving the Ford GTE – Rushbrook said of the departing trio: “While they may not be in our IMSA squad this season, you certainly haven’t seen the last of them. In fact, you’ll soon hear more about Dirk’s latest endeavours.”
The #64 Ford Multimatic Mustang scored two second-place finishes in GTD Pro, driven by Rockenfeller and Tincknell. Hand and Müller had a best finish of fourth in the #65 car, as the Mustang GT3 enters 2025 searching for its long-awaited first victory in worldwide competition.

It is a fast line-up that will allow us to build on our performance in 2024, and I look forward to seeing what this team will accomplish in the coming season,” Rushbrook exclaimed. “Now it’s time to get back on the track and take those next steps toward turning the Mustang GT3 into a consistent race winner!”
Both cars will be on track starting tomorrow in the second day of the IMSA sanctioned test at Daytona.
