Following their race-winning ELMS LMP2 Pro/Am campaign in 2024, Kriton Lentoudis and Alex Quinn are set to continue racing together with Algarve Pro Racing over the winter in the Asian Le Mans Series. They will share the Portuguese-flagged team’s #20 ORECA in the 2024/25 season with Olli Caldwell, who also drove with the team this year in its sister LMP2-entered ORECA.
The stated aim for this campaign is to build on Lentoudis and Quinn’s ELMS success, which saw them claim a class win in Imola (featured), second-place finishes at Mugello and Portimao and fight for the Pro/Am title this year. It will also serve as another developmental programme for Caldwell, who impressed throughout the 2024 ELMS season with the team.
“I’m really looking forward to working together with the entire Algarve Pro Racing team out in Asia, and to be teaming up with Kriton (Lentoudis) and Olli (Caldwell) will be special,” said Quinn. “We all have good speed, so we only have one aim, and that is to win the 2024-25 Asian Le Mans Series.”
Caldwell added: “I’m super excited to be racing in the 2024-25 Asian Le Mans Series, continuing my partnership with Algarve Pro Racing. Kriton (Lentoudis) and Alex (Quinn) had great success in this year’s European Le Mans Series and I look forward to working together with them.”
Algarve Pro Racing team principal, Stewart Cox, concluded: “I’m very happy with our driver line-ups for the 2024-25 Asian Le Mans Series. It’s great to have extended our association with Kriton (Lentoudis), Alex (Quinn) and Olli (Caldwell), all of whom made significant contributions to our 2024 European Le Mans Series campaign with their varying levels of experience.
“I’m particularly pleased to have the opportunity to build on the work we did with Kriton in his rookie LMP2 campaign, because he progressed at a vast rate and impressed us all, and the experience of racing in Asia can only be a good thing for his pace and confidence.”
