Japanese team JBR will contest the well supported 992 class in the 2025 Michelin 24H Dubai with a single Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
The team will feature 2011 Super GT GT300 champion, Taku Bamba as its lead driver. Supporting him will be a group of four gentleman drivers from Japan and the UK.
This entry also marks a significant milestone for team backers simdrive, the members-only driving lab in Toykyo, as its first overseas facility, simdrive DUBAI, is set for a pre-opening in Dubai in January.
The team’s race car will also feature other local sponsors, including FUJIFILM Middle East and Wayond.
