Liam Talbot has put the #183 Jamec Racing Audi on top of the final practice session on Friday, reserved for Bronze drivers, with a 2:05.093.
It was a great finish to the day for Talbot, who missed the entirety of the earlier Bronze-only session due to a gearbox change.
His lap times continually improved over the course of the session, finishing the session 0.86 ahead of his nearest rival; Kenny Habul in the #75 SunEnergy1 Mercedes.
Third in the session was Yasser Shahin in the #91 The Bend Manthey/EMA Porsche, from Brad Schumacher in the #36 Arise Racing GT Ferrari.
Once again, the session ran entirely without incident, completing a clean day’s running at the Mountain. On track, the action was entirely regular, with not even a dip into the grass for any competitor to report.
Track running continues tomorrow with two 1-hour practice sessions, before a 1-hour qualifying, and the all important shootout tomorrow afternoon.
