JAS Motorsport has committed to operating the entire customer support operation for the Civic Type R TCR and NSX GT3 programmes across Europe for the foreseeable future, as part of a realignment of business processes across the continent.
For almost a decade the Milan-based organisation, which builds the Civic Type R TCR, has worked with numerous partners across the globe, who have acted as official agents for the TCR and NSX GT3 programmes to deliver customer service and technical support.
Partner organisations such as Honda Racing US in North America and Wall Racing in Australia will continue to provide these services in their respective regions, while JAS Motorsport will take on a direct relationship with customers in all European markets from now on, after Sport77 previously undertook the role in the UK market.
“Our reputation for customer service has never been higher and we are extremely proud to work with some incredible partners globally that have contributed hugely to the more than 500 wins and 100 championships won by the Civic Type R TCR and the various evolutions of the NSX GT3,” said Mads Fischer, JAS Motorsport Chief Operations Officer, said.
“We feel, however that as a European company, and without geographic or time zone challenges, we can better serve our customers here by having them deal directly with us, rather than through a licenced agent.
