Grenier, Stephens To Lead JMF Motorsports’ First GTWC America Campaign

Mercedes-AMG GT3 customer programme leads three-series attack on SRO America

JMF Motorsports has announced its drivers for the 2025 GT World Challenge America season, marking the Canadian team’s expansion into GT3 competition beginning at the opening round in Sonoma Raceway

Mercedes-AMG factory driver and Quebec native Mikaël Grenier will join returning JMF driver Michai Stephens in the #34 Mercedes-AMG GT3, competing for top honours in the Pro category. Grenier was part of the AlManar Racing by GetSpeed team that took Gold class victory in last year’s 24 Hours of Spa, and also recorded his first IMSA SportsCar Championship victory last year at VIRginia International Raceway. This will be Grenier’s first appearance in the American GT World Challenge series.

Opposite him is Stephens, a former Team USA Formula Ford Scholarship driver who makes his GT3 racing debut after an accomplished four-year run in GT4 racing. He won the GT4 America Silver class title in 2021, then finished runner-up in the standings in 2022 and 2023 driving for JMF and Conquest Racing. In 2024, Stephens split time between GT4 America with TechSport Racing and Michelin Pilot Challenge with JMF.

“We have made a big leap this year,” said JMF Motorsports President John Farrow, “but we have a strong team in place and good manufacturer support. We are glad to be back in the SRO America paddock, and are looking forward to getting the season started!”

“Mik brings a wealth of experience to help propel us to the front of the grid,” added CEO Danny Kok. “Michai has been driving for us for many years and has shown he is ready for this next chapter in his racing career. We know that SRO is growing, and we believe this is a great series for our team to showcase our capabilities.”

Along with the expansion into GT3, JMF Motorsports is also beginning a new chapter in GT4 America with two new Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evos, fighting for the Silver class championship.

Returning JMF driver Jesse Webb will form an all-Canadian line-up in the #3 Aston Martin with Canadian-American driver Jonathan Neudorf. Webb drove alongside Stephens in Michelin Pilot Challenge last season and was the Silver class runner-up in 2023, while Neudorf supplemented his sophomore season in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup with his first season of GT4 racing at TechSport Racing.

In the #4 Aston Martin, Toyota GR Cup North America graduate Braydon Arthur will join Aston Martin Racing factory driver Mike David Ortmann from Germany. Ortmann is a two-time ADAC GT4 Germany champion and graduated from the Aston Martin Academy in 2024.

Neudorf will also pull double-duty in the SRO America paddock this year, driving one of JMF’s new Toyota GR Corolla TCs in the TC America class, with the other going to Canadian Motorsport Academy graduate Antonio Costantino.
