Ziggo Sport Tempesta has announced its 2025 race programme, including confirmation of the driver line-up for its 24 Hours of Le Mans debut.
The British team, which competed last season as Sky Tempesta Racing, earned an automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans as the best performing Bronze Cup entry in GT World Challenge Europe.
Eddie Cheever III, Chris Froggatt and Jonathan Hui will share the team’s Ferrari 296 LMGT3 at Le Mans.
The trio have significant history, having first raced together at the 2019 24 Hours of Spa. They’ve shared a car at least once a year ever since, and won the Bronze Cup in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in both 2023 and 2024.
The full 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list is set to be released on Monday.
The team’s primary programme will again be in the Bronze Cup class in GT World Challenge Europe, where they won three titles in 2024 and at least one title in four of the last five seasons.
Cheever and Froggatt are both returning to the #93 296 GT3 for the Endurance Cup. Joining them is back-to-back GT Open Pro/Am champion Marco Pulcini, who replaces Hui.
Hui will return to the line-up for the Monza round at the beginning of June, and the 24 Hours of Spa.
Pulcini will also drive for the team in the Sprint Cup events.
The team have a new look for 2025, with an orange and white livery matching the colours of the team’s new partner, Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport. The car was unveiled on an episode of Ziggo Sport’s ‘Race Café’ show.
The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe season begins at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11-13 April, with the Prologue taking place at the same venue on 10-11 March.
