The FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps entry list has been revealed. It features all 36 full-season cars and a handful of driver changes following the 6 Hours of Imola last weekend.
Adding to the news from Porsche this morning that Pascal Wehrlein and Nico Müller will join its Hypercar effort as part of their preparations for Le Mans, the list features confirmation that BMW M Team WRT will compete with two drivers in each M Hybrid V8.
This is due to the clash with the IMSA weekend at Laguna Seca. Dries Vanthoor and Sheldon van der Linde will race in North America with RLL, leaving Kevin Magnussen and Raffaele Marciello to share the #15 and Robin Frijns and Rene Rast to steer the #20.
WRT is not the only team competing with two drivers in each car at Spa in Hypercar, as Aston Martin Team THOR will also race with four drivers across its Valkyries once again.
Beyond that, in LMGT3, there are two changes of note. Esteban Masson, who filled in for injured Ben Barnicoat in the #78 AKKODIS ASP Lexus in Italy, will not race in Belgium. In his place, Yuichi Nakayama – who brings years of Super GT experience to the team – will make his WEC debut.
Elsewhere, Christian Ried, who has taken the Bronze seat in the #61 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG, is not listed. Currently, his space in the list is filled by “TBA”.
The 2025 FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa is set to take place on May 10th.
