Tempesta Racing Shows Off Le Mans Colours

Ziggo Sport Tempesta Racing has taken the wraps off the livery its Ferrari 296 LMGT3 will sport for its Le Mans debut next month.

The team’s 296 GT3, which will compete in the LMGT3 class after it gained an automatic invitation to enter the race via success in GT World Challenge Europe, features the team’s signature white and orange colours.

This appearance at Le Mans represents the realisation of a long-held ambition shared by drivers Chris Froggatt, Jonathan Hui, and Eddie Cheever III, who began racing together in 2019.

Chris Froggatt, Tempesta Racing team founder and driver, said:  “From our first campaign together in 2019, it’s always been a dream to get the opportunity to drive at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. I am immensely proud to be able to have realised this dream with Eddie and Jon.

“It feels surreal to be in the position to participate in such a legendary event with two such good friends and teammates. I’m excited for the challenge and to live the dream.

“The race will be extremely tough with such a competitive and equally matched grid, but as ever, I am going to put everything into this race and am confident that we can have the success we desire.”
