UNX Racing Adds To Bronze Cup Field

UNX Racing will join the GT World Challenge Europe field for the second half of the 2025 season, starting with next weekend’s Sprint Cup event at Misano World Circuit.

The Italian outfit will compete in the Bronze Cup, running the #888 Porsche 911 GT3.R (992) with support from series regulars Dinamic GT.

24 Hours of Spa Pro-Am winners Mathieu Detry and Fabian Duffieux will drive in the Sprint Cup events, with Marta García joining them at the Endurance rounds.

All three have some, albeit limited, GT3 racing experience. Their Spa success, aboard an AV Racing by Car Collection Motorsport Porsche, was Detry and Duffieux’s GT3 debut. García, meanwhile, transitioned to GT3 racing at the start of this season as a part of the Iron Dames’ Michelin Le Mans Cup effort.

In 2025, Detry and Duffieux have also been racing together in the GT4 European Series aboard an AV Racing Porsche, and in the 24H Series’ Porsche 992 GT3 Cup class alongside fan-favourite Ajith Kumar.

UNX is one of three additions to the Sprint Cup field for Misano, meaning the Italian round will feature the series’ largest ever grid at 44 cars.

As previously confirmed, Team WRT will field an additional, one-off BMW M4 GT3 Evo for BMW M factory drivers Raffaele Marciello and Valentino Rossi. The pair, who both have multiple Misano Sprint Cup wins to their name, will compete in Pro in the #46.

Additionally, Austrian outfit Razoon-more than racing will make its GT World Challenge Europe debut with the #43 Porsche 911 GT3.R (992) for 18-year-old Simon Birch and Porsche contracted driver Klaus Bachler. The team is no stranger to the SRO paddock, with a presence in both the GT2 European Series and GT4 European Series this season. This is another Pro entry, bolstering the top class to 15 cars.

Round three of the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup takes place at Misano World Circuit on 18-20 July.
