The Japan Automobile Federation and GT Association (GTA) have announced the 2026 Autobacs SUPER GT Series calendar, which retains the same eight rounds and seven venues as last year, in the same order.
2026 begins at the traditional opening venue, Okayama International Circuit, where the season kicks off on 12 April with the Okayama GT 300km Race.
Fuji Speedway will stage two rounds, including the hottest ticket on the calendar, the 31st SUPER GT Fuji Golden Week race on Monday, 4 May. The annual summer race at Fuji, the setting of the first-ever Fuji GT Sprint Race, will be held on the weekend of 2 August.
In between, SUPER GT will venture to Petronas Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia for its international race on 20 June – one week before the 2026 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, which will alleviate a clash for any drivers or teams that wish to participate.
Suzuka Circuit will host the fifth round of the championship on 23 August, Sportsland Sugo will wrap up the summer slate on 20 September, before the series wraps up at Autopolis International Racing Course on 18 October, and Mobility Resort Motegi on 8 November (clashing with the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain).
The format and distances for the remaining races will be announced later, as will pre-season official testing dates.
