After setting the fastest time in two practice sessions, the #44 Ibiza Farm McLaren Artura GT4 of Moisey Uretsky and Michael Cooper qualified on pole for Friday’s Fox Factory 120, the last round of the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
Uretsky set a 1:25.908 in his #44 McLaren to take the pole, outqualifying Caio Chaves in the #54 Panam Motorsport Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 by a shade under two-tenths of a second.
However, Chaves and Werner Neugebauer will drop to the rear of the GS (Grand Sport) field after failing technical inspection for unapproved sensors on the #54 Toyota.
That’ll move the #13 McCumbee McAleer Racing with Aerosport Ford Mustang GT4 (Jenson Altzman/Nate Cicero) up to the front row; Cicero initially qualified three-tenths behind Uretsky in third but will now start second as one of four cars vying for the GS title.
Morgan Burkhard (#67 CSM Porsche 718 GT4 RS Clubsport) and Ford Koch (#23 Copeland Motorsports Toyota) will start third and fourth, respectively, followed by Paul Holton (#46 Team TGM Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo).
GS Championship leaders Luca Mars and Jan Heylen will start sixth in their #28 RS1 Porsche and could clinch the title in tomorrow’s race with a sixth-place finish or better.
The #39 CarBahn with Peregrine Racing BMW M4 GT4 EVO (Sean McAlister/Jeff Westphal) starts in seventh, with the #27 Auto Technic Racing BMW (Austin Krainz/Stevan McAleer) starting 16th.
In the TCR class, Mason Filippi qualified on pole position in the #98 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR, to the benefit of co-driver Harry Gottsacker.
Gottsacker only trails TCR points leaders Louis-Philippe Montour and Karl Wittmer by ten points heading into the Friday finale; the #93 MMG Honda Civic FL5 TCR of Montour and Wittmer only qualified fifth in class.
Between them are the second-ranked #99 VGRT Cupra León VZ TCR (Tyler Gonzalez/Eric Powell), the #33 BHA Hyundai (Mark Wilkins/Bryson Morris), and the #7 Precision Racing LA Audi RS 3 LMS (Ryan Eversley/Celso Neto).
The #76 BHA Hyundai of Preston Brown and Denis Dupont, who enter the race third in points, qualified eighth.
