Campos Racing & Brutal Fish Confirm 2026 LMP3 Plans

Reigning FIA F3 Team Champions and current F1 Academy Team Championship leaders Campos Racing is the latest single-seater powerhouse to announce an intention to enter endurance racing with a strategic alliance with Lamborghini Super Trofeo stalwarts Brutal Fish Racing Team.

The combined outfit have plans to field a joint entry in LMP3 from 2026 onwards in a yet-to-be confirmed Series.

The team describes the move as ‘a solid first step into this motorsport discipline’.

Campos Racing’s currently active in FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, F1 Academy, Eurocup-3, and F4 Spain single-seater.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “I am very proud of the alliance we have forged with Brutal Fish Racing Team with the aim of being present in the world of endurance racing, which in recent years has been enjoying a new golden era. This project is especially meaningful to me because it was in this discipline that my father put the finishing touch on his sporting career, competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997, shortly before founding Campos Racing. We are already working with great enthusiasm on this new venture, and I am confident it will bring us plenty of joy.”

As for the targeted Series, the European Le Mans Series is likely out of reach, heavily oversubscribed with plenty of long-standing paddock occupants forming a non-too orderly queue. Michelin Le Mans Cup is the likely realistic first step with Ultimate Cup also possible.
