Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin has one more stop to make tonight, under the lights at historic Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. In this 100-lap exhibition race, the winner will receive a $25,000 grand prize and a famous Ridgeway grandfather clock.
Two-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner Earl Bamber makes a guest appearance in one of Hendricks Motorsports’ two cars, trying his hand at oval racing for the first time, against a strong field of contenders including newly-crowned MX-5 Cup Champion Jeremy Fletcher, Toyota GR Cup North America Champion Westin Workman (with Vasser Sullivan Racing’s Bozi Tatarevic as part of his crew), and third-generation driver Jagger Jones.
Tonight’s race airs live on the IMSA YouTube channel at the top of the hour with commentary from Tony LaPorta, Matt Yocum, and pit reporter Shea Adam.
