Ferrari Unveils F76 Digital Hypercar

A Digital-Only Tribute to the brand's Le Mans Heritage

In the same year it celebrated a third consecutive victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P, Ferrari has revealed a very different kind of creation, the F76, its first car designed exclusively for the digital realm.

Unveiled as a non-fungible token (NFT), the F76 marks Ferrari’s first venture into fully virtual car design, blending its racing heritage with the latest in generative design and digital technology. The name pays homage to the Italian marque’s first Le Mans triumph in 1949, achieved 76 years ago by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon in the 166 MM Touring Barchetta.

Unlike any production model, the F76 is a pioneering virtual concept developed by the Ferrari Styling Centre under Flavio Manzoni. It has formed part of the brand’s Hyperclub programme, an exclusive club for clients supporting Ferrari’s efforts with the 499P in the FIA WEC, which debuted in 2023 and has just been renewed for a further two years for 2026 and 2027.

Ferrari describes the F76 as a “design manifesto” that anticipates the shapes and philosophies of its future road cars. The project explores the fusion of biomimetics, architecture, engineering, and computer science, resulting in patented solutions that push beyond traditional automotive design.

Its most striking feature is the double-fuselage layout, “the result of a quest for maximum purity in air flow management”. The separated driver and passenger cells create a central channel that turns the body into an aerodynamic wing, maximising ground effect. Airflow is carefully sculpted to split at the front and rejoin at the rear, where a secondary wing and complex diffuser enhance efficiency.

References to the Ferrari F80 concept are evident in the floating splitter and the two pairs of retractable headlights represent the link between the legacy of Ferrari’s 1970s and ‘80s pop-up headlights and the futuristic character of the F76.

The F76 also reimagines the interior architecture, featuring two synchronised cockpits connected by drive-by-wire technology that allows both passengers to simultaneously experience the sensations of driving

Each F76 NFT has been customised by its owner, with clients able to configure their digital car through exclusive design “drops” over the initial three-year Hyperclub programme.
