The 11th annual Race of Remembrance, the flagship event of Mission Motorsport, will be held this weekend at Anglesey Circuit in Wales.
Organised in association with the BRSCC, the event caters for race-modified versions of road-going cars with a capacity of under 2.0-litres, and was named Motorsport UK’s Event of the Year in 2024.
As is traditional, the race will take place across three parts, with pauses both overnight and for a remembrance service in the pit lane at 11AM on Sunday.
A field of over 50 entries is again expected, with competitors including Jake Hill and Chris Harris.
“I’m looking forward to be taking part in my first Race of Remembrance, and it will also be my debut at Anglesey,” said 2024 British Touring Car drivers’ champion Hill, who is transitioning to international GT racing in 2026, and will drive a Citroën C1 this weekend. “It’s all for such a great cause, and I’m honoured to be involved.”
The RAF, Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Engineers all have entries, whilst drivers supported by Mission Motorsport are embedded throughout the field.
In the #555 Mission Motorsport car, wheelchair users Lionel O Connor, Steve Binns, Dom Pearson and Mike Smith will pilot a previously written-off Subaru BRZ adapted to be raced with hand controls, with the support of Subaru UK.

New partners for this year’s event include Wera Tools and Davanti Tyres, with the latter serving as the official tyre supplier and providing its Protoura Race semi-slick tyres to every competitor.
This year’s ‘Poppy Car’, which acts as the Safety Car for the event, is a Jaguar F-Type SVR featuring a livery honouring the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Alongside the Race of Remembrance, the Forces’ Motorsport Charity will run other events this weekend. These include the Karting Race of Remembrance, which is being held at Thruxton Karting Centre.
The 2025 Race of Remembrance will be held from the 7th to 9th November 2025, with the race beginning at 15:00 UTC on Saturday 8th.
