Mercedes-AMG squad GetSpeed has announced its second driver roster for the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series season, in partnership with the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF).
Qatari drivers Abdulla Ali Al-Khelaifi and Ghanim Salah Al-Maadheed will be joined in the #37 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo by Mercedes-AMG factory driver Lucas Auer.
Al-Khelaifi and Al-Maadheed made their Asian Le Mans debut last season, piloting a Herberth-fielded Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) in the final two rounds at Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina.
The pairing then embarked on a GT World Challenge Europe campaign with Saintéloc Racing, sharing an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II in the Endurance Cup and scoring a best finish of fifth in the Bronze Cup at Monza. They both also featured in the team’s Sprint Cup line-up on different occasions.
Auer also made his Asian Le Mans debut last season, with the two-time DTM runner-up competing for Climax Racing in GT. The Austrian is familiar with the GetSpeed outfit, having driven for them in Europe multiple times over the past few seasons, including most recently at this year’s 24H Nürburgring
This trio joins GetSpeed’s previously confirmed #9 Mercedes-AMG on the grid. Anthony Bartone and Fabian Schiller will contest the full season in this entry, with Shigekazu Wakisaka and Steve Jans both set to feature as the Bronze-ranked driver at different rounds. This is due to the expected arrival of a new member to the Jans family in December.
The 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series begins at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia on the weekend of 12th to 14th December 2025.
