Team Peugeot TotalEnergies has finalised its driver line-ups for the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship and added driver Alex Quinn as a development driver for the upcoming season.
This comes after Quinn, who turns 25 next month, tested the Peugeot 9X8 for the first time during the FIA WEC Rookie Test in Bahrain, leaving a positive impression on the French manufacturer.
“I’m very happy to be joining the Peugeot family as a test and development driver,” said Quinn (pictured above, left of Nick Cassidy). “I hope this marks the start of a long relationship. My goal is to help the team as much as possible while learning and growing on my side. And for that, I couldn’t be in a better place than with Team Peugeot TotalEnergies. 2026 is going to be an exciting year.”
Quinn will share test and development driver duties with Jean-Eric Vergne, who has taken a step back from WEC competition amidst a shake-up of the 2026 driver fleet.
Theo Pourchaire will run full-time for Peugeot in 2026 after making his debut at the WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain, while Nick Cassidy will debut for the team, making his WEC Hypercar debut after two successful tests, including the aforementioned Bahrain Rookie Test where he set the second-fastest time of the day.
Stoffel Vandoorne will also return to the team for 2026, joining tenured Peugeot drivers Loïc Duval, Paul di Resta, and second-year driver Malthe Jakobsen.
Olivier Jansonnie, Technical Director of Peugeot Sport, said today: “For 2026, we are confirming a solid and well-balanced line-up of six full-season drivers, combining youth and experience. Loïc and Paul, who have been with us since the start of the program, remain our pillars, their expertise and dedication continue to play a key role in our success.
“We also welcome Nick, who will make his FIA WEC debut in 2026 and has already demonstrated impressive speed in other championships, as well as Stoffel, who knows the team very well. Their talent and experience will be valuable assets.
“Malthe, after a very strong first season with us, continues to show great potential, and Théo impressed in his first race in Bahrain, both represent the quality of young talent within our program.
We’re also pleased to welcome Alex, whose Rookie Test in Bahrain showcased both his performance and his motivation to progress at the highest level. He will be supported in his development driver role by Jean-Eric, whom we had already confirmed for 2026.”
Peugeot will announce the line-ups for the #93 and #94 cars in early 2026.
