59 cars have already been entered for January’s 6H Abu Dhabi, the second round of the 2025/26 24H Series Middle East Trophy, with 30 entries listed in the top GT3 category.
Defending winner Team WRT is returning with a single BMW M4 GT3 Evo, as the sole representative on the Bavarian marque in GT3.
The Belgian squad will face opposition from no fewer than 10 Porsche 911 GT3 Rs (992), including a three-car assault from Herberth Motorsport and two cars from two-time 6H Abu Dhabi winner Car Collection Motorsport. One of the Car Collection entries will be run in collaboration with reigning GT World Challenge Asia champion Origine.
Dinamic GT, Fulgenzi Racing, Huber Motorsport, Razoon-More Than Racing and EBM have all entered a single 911 GT3 R (992).
EBM is also fielding a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, one of seven in the field. Defending Middle East Trophy Teams’ champions Winward Racing has entered two cars, with single-car efforts from HOFOR Racing, Ajith RedAnt Racing, TFT Racing and Team Motopark.
Dragon Racing has entered two Ferrari 296 GT3s, with the Prancing Horse set to also be represented by Scuderia Praha and series debutant MAEZAWA Racing.
The grid also features four examples of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, with a two-car entry from HAAS RT joining single-car efforts from UAE-based Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport and Saintéloc Junior Team.
Optimum Motorsport, who finished third in the 2025 edition of the race, has entered the only McLaren GT3 Evo in the field, with the GT3 entry completed by three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2s: two from ARC Bratislava, and one from Spora GT.
The next largest class is 992, with 17 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) machines already entered.
This includes a mammoth six-car entry from HRT Performance, including one under the ‘QMMF by HRT Performance’ banner which won last year’s title.
Defending race winner Mühlner Motorsport has entered a single car, whilst Razoon – More Than Racing, EBM and RABDAN by FULGENZI have added a 992 effort to their GT3 entries.
SebLajoux Racing are set to field two cars, with single-car entries coming from 2022 outright winner Baron Motorsport, Red Camel-Jordans.nl, Chazel Technologie Course, Crubilé Sport and Neuhofer Rennsport.
GTX has attracted a three-car entry, headlined by the endurance race debut of the Ginetta G56 GT2 (https://www.dailysportscar.com/2025/11/21/ginetta-g56-gt2-endurance-debut-confirmed.html) in the hands of Team CMR.
The French outfit will face opposition from Vortex V8’s Vortex 2.0, and GT 3 Poland’s Super Trofeo-spec Lamborghini Huracán.
Five cars are currently entered in GT4, all from different teams.
Circuit Toys has entered a Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo2, with Continental Racing running an older-spec Supra. BMW is represented by Cerny Motorsport and its M4 GT4, with Primus Racing running an Audi R8 LMS GT4 and CWS Engineering bringing its Ginetta G56 GT4.
The grid is completed by the four-car TCE-TCX category, which sees defending winner Chazel Technologie Course’s Alpine A110 Cup go up against three cars from asBest Racing.
As is traditional from asBest, these are three different cars, with the German outfit entering a SEAT Leon Cup Racer, Cupra TCR DSG and Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR DSG.
The 2026 6H Abu Dhabi will take place on 10th January 2026, with qualifying occurring the day prior.
The 2025/26 24H Series Middle East Trophy begins with the 12H Malaysia on 5th and 6th December 2025, before the 6H Abu Dhabi and 24H Dubai.
