Ferrari Celebrates WEC Title In Maranello

Ferrari successfully celebrated its first prototype manufacturers’ world championship victory in 53 years earlier this week, with a public event on the streets of Maranello yesterday afternoon.

In an event similar to that which followed its 24 Hours of Le Mans triumph in 2023, except for the replacement of the summer sun with the expected cold (but thankfully dry!) of the European winter, the pair of works Ferrari 499P Hypercars were paraded from the manufacturers’ headquarters to the Ferrari museum.

Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, Nicklas Nielsen, Antonio Giovinazzi and birthday boy Alessandro Pier Guidi all participated in the event, with James Calado absent for personal reasons.

The drivers met, and had lunch with, Ferrari employees in the morning, whilst the afternoon parade saw the local roads lined with fans, and was followed by a well-attended public autograph session.
