An updated 68-car entry has been confirmed for the 2026 Dubai 24 Hour by organiser Creventic, ahead of next month’s race.
The field has undergone multiple changes since a provisional list was unveiled in October, whilst drivers have also been confirmed for the majority of the grid.
The top GT3 category has decreased from 39 to 34 cars, whilst the manufacturer count has fallen from eight to six.
This is due to the withdrawal of Haupt Racing Team’s Ford Mustang GT3, and Comtoyou Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo.
Other absentees on the most recent version include Porsche 911 GT3 Rs (992) from Car Collection Motorsport, Herberth Motorsport and Huber Motorsport, Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs from ESMotorsport by Group63 and Team Motopark, and Tresor Attempto Racing’s Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.
These losses have been replaced by three new entries into GT3.
Dragon Racing has entered a third Ferrari 296 GT3 under the Into Africa Racing banner, Saintéloc Junior Team has added a second Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, and recent 12H Malaysia winner Origine has entered the #87 Porsche for Bo Yuan, Ye Hongli and Deng Yi.
On the driver front, the headline news is that Jordan Pepper is set to make his first start as a BMW M factory driver, piloting the #669 M4 GT3 EVO of defending winner Team WRT alongside Anthony McIntosh, Ben Tuck, Kelvin van der Linde and Fran Rueda, with Tuck the only driver returning from 2025’s triumph.
Stanislav Minsky, Thomas Kiefer, Julian Hanses and two-time winner Christopher Haase will share the sister #27 entry, with longtime Audi driver Haase making a rare appearance in a car not sporting the four rings.
Other former winners in the field include Ralf Bohn at Herberth Motorsport, Gabriele Piana at Winward Racing and Darren Leung at Paradine Competition, whilst two-time winner Axcil Jeffries and defending victor Al Faisal Al Zubair both feature in the #777 Al Manar by Dragon Racing Ferrari alongside reigning GT World Challenge Europe Bronze Cup champions Dustin Blattner and Dennis Marschall.
As always, the field contains plenty of works-contracted GT aces.
These include Porsche contracted drivers Michelle Gatting and Sven Müller, at Pure Rxcing and Herberth Motorsport respectively, whilst EBM’s #61 Porsche features Contracted Drivers Dorian Boccolacci and Alessandro Ghiretti, as well as the newest Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific driver, Enzo Trulli.
Maro Engel and Luca Stolz both feature in Winward Racing’s #16 Mercedes-AMG, with Matteo Cairoli in the sister #81 entry, whilst Jules Gounon is listed aboard Grove Racing by GetSpeed’s AMG GT3 EVO.
Meanwhile, the contemporary racing return of Dario Franchitti aboard the #31 Team Parker Racing Mercedes-AMG is guaranteed to attract attention.
The GTX ranks have been bolstered to six cars by the addition of a second Team CMR entry, with the French outfit adding a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 alongside its Ginetta G56 GT2.
Nico Prost has been added to the Ginetta’s line-up, alongside the previously confirmed Mike Simpson and Lawrence and Freddie Tomlinson.
992, meanwhile, has lost one entry, and now sits at 16 cars.
Red Ant Racing and HRT Performance have both added a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992), with withdrawals coming from Mühlner Motorsport, Simpson Racing by Continental Motorsport and Speed Lover.
In GT4, the #414 Razoon – More Than Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport and #478 CWS Engineering Ginetta G56 GT4 are new additions.
These make up for the loss of the #455 Willi Motorsport BMW and #469 Simpson Racing by Continental Motorsport Toyota, keeping the class at five cars.
The only unchanged category is TCE-TCX, which still contains the same seven cars as named in October.
The 2026 24H Dubai, the final round of the 2025/26 24H Series Middle East Trophy, will be held on 16th to 18th January 2026.
