Paradine Competition Adds Second BMW For Dubai

BMW M factory ace Augusto Farfus leads the way for the recently-added #991 M4 GT3 EVO

Paradine Competition has announced that it has added a second BMW M4 GT3 EVO to its assault on this weekend’s 24H Dubai, to compete in GT3-Pro.

The previously unveiled quartet of Darren Leung, Ahmed Al Harthy, James Kellett and Anthony McIntosh have switched from the #991 BMW to the new #992 entry, where they will defend Paradine’s GT3-Am victory from 12 months ago.

The new line-up in the #991, which has moved to GT3-Pro, features Leung, Kellett, Augusto Farfus, Jamie Day and Pedro Ebrahim.

Team co-owner Leung is no stranger to pulling double-duty at the 24H Dubai. Last year, he raced in the outright-winning Team WRT BMW as well as Paradine’s entry, and the addition of a Pro effort for this weekend’s race greatly boosts the Briton’s chances of successfully defending his double victory.

In an entertaining twist, this means that Leung and Kellett will both be sharing a car with, and competing against, McIntosh, with the American racer also forming part of Team WRT’s #669 BMW line-up in GT3-Pro.

BMW M factory driver and former 24H Dubai winner Farfus is familiar with the Paradine squad, having raced with them in select rounds of last season’s GT World Challenge Europe

Ebrahim, meanwhile, was a regular in Paradine’s Endurance Cup squad, where the Brazilian shared a car with Kellett and Charles Clark, winning the Silver Cup at the Circuit Paul Ricard six-hour season opener.

Aston Martin Junior driver Day, who starred on his way to last year’s GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup Silver drivers’ title, is a newcomer to the British team, with the 20-year-old also set to make his first start in a M4 GT3 EVO.

The 2026 24H Dubai, the final round of the 2025/26 24H Series Middle East Trophy, will be held this weekend.
