Reigning GT4 champions Marc Warren and Jack Brown will step up to the GT3 Silver-Am category in the upcoming 2026 British GT championship season.
Optimum Motorsport’s Warren and Brown became the first GT4 Pro-Am class pairing to win the overall GT4 title last year since 2016, with Brown scoring a second consecutive GT4 title, which had never been achieved before in British GT.
They will both debut in the GT3 competition at the wheel of a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, a quicker and more sophisticated package than the Artura GT4 from last year.
With Optimum having contended for championship glory last year with factory ace Marvin Kirchhöfer and Morgan Tillbrook, the team are keen to contend for Silver-Am glory too.
Brown said: I’m delighted to be returning to the British GT Championship with Optimum Motorsport for the 2026 season.
“Marc and I enjoyed a very strong year together last season, and moving up to GT3 feels like the natural next step for us.
“We’re both excited to take on a new challenge and continue learning as we head into the 2026 season.”
“Absolutely buzzing to move up to GT3 this year with Jack and Optimum Motorsport,” said Warren.
“I’m itching to get out in the car and feel the speed. It’s a big step for us, and we’re going up against a lot of experienced GT3 drivers, so our primary concern is winning Silver-Am.
“We’ll be delighted if we can contend for overall results.”
Optimum Motorsport will announce additional GT3 and GT4 entries before the media day testing at Silverstone on March 31.
