United Autosports has announced a change to its GT driver line-up for the remaining rounds of the Asian Le Mans Series, with series debutants Andrey Mukovoz and Alexy Nesov joining the Anglo-American team.
The pairing will share the #59 McLaren GT3 Evo with Wayne Boyd, in place of Garnet Patterson and Mark Rosser, who teamed up with Boyd at the Sepang season opener.
Mukovoz and Nesov raced together in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for Tresor Attempto Racing last year, having won the Bronze Cup class at the 24 Hours of Spa aboard an Attempto Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II in 2024 alongside Dylan Pereira and Max Hofer.
For both drivers, the next round of the Asian Le Mans Series, to be held at the Dubai Autodrome at the end of this month.
This will be their first races in the McLaren, and their first event with United.
“Having closely followed the races in Malaysia, I’m really excited to be joining United Autosports for the remaining rounds of the Asian Le Mans Series in Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” Mukovoz said.
“The circuits present unique and demanding challenges, but with the support of such a well-respected team with a raft of proven results.
I am confident that we can fight at the very front of the pack. With Alexey and Wayne alongside, our goal is to hit the ground running and work tirelessly for the best results possible.”
Nesov commented: “Joining United Autosports and representing the McLaren brand is a momentous opportunity. The team has a great pedigree and I am eager to contribute to its ongoing success alongside Wayne and Andrey. The McLaren is an incredible machine, and I’m looking forward to extracting its full potential at two of the most challenging racetracks on the calendar.”
