Porsche customer team Dinamic GT has confirmed its plans for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season, with the Italian squad set to take on the Sprint Cup for the first time since 2023 with a two-car effort.
The team will field its #54 911 GT3 R (992.2) in the Silver Cup for the full season, with Tanart Sathienthirakul returning to Dinamic to form part of its line-up throughout the 10-round campaign.
The Thai driver previously raced for Dinamic GT in the 2023 Endurance Cup, before going on to win the 2024 Endurance Cup Silver drivers’ title with Winward Racing.
Sathienthirakul will be joined by Angus Whiteside and Francesco Simonazzi in the Endurance Cup, and Loris Cabirou in the Sprint Cup.
Whitside and Simonazzi are both series rookies, and competed in Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain and the European Le Mans Series’ LMP2 category respectively last season. Whiteside is new to GT3 racing, whilst Simonazzi picked up his first GT3 experience aboard an Oregon Team Lamborghini in the final two rounds of last year’s International GT Open.
Cabirou was runner-up in last season’s Endurance Cup Silver drivers’ championship, aboard a Boutsen VDS-run Mercedes-AMG. The Frenchman made his Sprint Cup debut with McLaren outfit CSA Racing at last season’s Valencia Sprint finale, and finished on the Gold Cup podium in Race 1.
Dinamic GT’s #55 Porsche, meanwhile, will run exclusively in the Sprint Cup, in the Bronze Cup class. Bronze-rated Dmitry Gvazava, a race winner in the class last season aboard Imperiale Racing’s Lamborghini, is the only driver confirmed for this effort so far.
The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season begins at Circuit Paul Ricard on 10th to 11th April 2026, with a six-hour Endurance Cup event.
