Reigning 24 Hours of Spa winner Grasser Racing has confirmed it will defend its victory at the Belgian race, with the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3.
Gottfried Grasser’s eponymous operation will field the #163 Temerario GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, under the ‘TGI Team GRT’ banner. The car will be driven by Lamborghini factory drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Franck Perera and Maximilian Paul.
Bortolotti and Paul will also compete for the team in the DTM, also in Temerario GT3s.
2024 DTM drivers’ champion Bortolotti has raced for Grasser since the beginning of Lamborghini’s GT3 programme in 2015. The Italian, who won Spa alongside Jordan Pepper and Luca Engstler last year, is the only driver who has been retained from Grasser’s 2025 line-up. As well as continuing with Grasser in GT World Challenge, the 36-year-old is also returning to the team’s DTM effort, having last competed for the team in the German-based series in 2022.
26-year-old Paul, who was recently named a Lamborghini factory driver, won Grasser its first DTM race in 2023. Last season, Paul competed in the DTM and GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with his family-run Paul Motorsport outfit.
Perera, meanwhile, rejoins Grasser after a season away. The Frenchman, who set the GT lap record at Spa-Francorchamps aboard a Grasser-run Huracán GT3 Evo2 in 2024, switched to fellow Lamborghini outfit VSR in the Endurance Cup last year, but is now returning to the Austrian outfit.
Last year, GRT – Grasser Racing Team scored a historic victory at the 24 Hours of Spa, Lamborghini’s first at the race. The Austrian team then proceeded to challenge for titles in the DTM and GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, winning races in both series.
Grasser Racing joins reigning teams’ champion Rutronik Racing in fielding a Temerario GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, and is the Italian marque’s only DTM squad announced so far.
The other teams currently confirmed to be racing the Temerario, which is undergoing a steady rollout this season, are VSR (GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup) and Pfaff Motorsports (IMSA Sportscar Championship).

We got a good first impression during the tests, but there are still several areas which can be improved on.

“With the Temerario GT3, Lamborghini has designed a state-of-the-art, latest-generation GT3 car, and we are confident that we will be able to achieve good results right from the start. The DTM and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup are two absolute benchmarks in GT3 racing. We will get to know the new car in both sprint and endurance racing in the toughest of competitions.
“With our drivers, we are up to the challenge in every aspect. Mirko is an integral part of the success story of Lamborghini and GRT. We fought for the title in the DTM right from the start and are ready for revenge. Max, as our team’s first DTM winner, is also an important part of this story. He will make a strong team with Mirko in the DTM.
“We have been close friends with all of our drivers for years, and that applies to Franck as well. He is also a stalwart as both an athlete and a human and thus perfectly rounds out our team for the Endurance Cup.”
