Mercedes-AMG Assembles 10-Car Fleet For World Challenge Europe

Mercedes-AMG has revealed its full roster for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season, featuring 10 cars in the Endurance Cup and six in the Sprint Cup.

Three teams will represent the Silver Arrows in Pro, with GetSpeed and Winward Racing joined by the 2 Seas Motorsport-run #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing AMG GT3 EVO this year.

Christopher Lulham and Daniel Juncadella will pilot the #3 Mercedes-AMG for the full 10-round campaign, with AMG factory driver Jules Gounon joining them for the Endurance Cup rounds.

Lucas Auer and Maro Engel are both returning to Winward Racing’s #48 AMG GT3 EVO for the third consecutive season, as they look to reclaim the drivers’ championship they won in 2024. The MANN-FILTER-backed ‘Mamba’ AMG GT3 EVO has been a constant presence near the front of the field for the past two years, with six race wins, titles in both the overall and Sprint Cup classifications in 2024, and a runner-up finish in the season-long and Endurance Cup standings last year.

The pairing will have a third co-driver in as many seasons in the Endurance Cup, with Luca Stolz moving over from Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed to replace Matteo Cairoli.

At GetSpeed, only Fabian Schiller is returning to the line-up of its Pro #17 AMG GT3 EVO, with Maxime Martin and Maximilian Götz joining from former AMG squad Boutsen VDS, which has switched to running Porsche machinery for 2026, in place of Gounon and Stolz.

GetSpeed has expanded to run a total of four cars in this year’s Endurance Cup, and has also added the Sprint Cup to its programme.

In the Silver Cup, the #6 GetSpeed Team BartoneBros entry will be piloted by Anthony Bartone and Aurelien Panis for the full season, with Cesar Gazeau joining them in the Endurance Cup. Bartone raced for GetSpeed in the Endurance Cup last season, whilst Panis and Gazeau won the season-long Silver Cup drivers’ title with Boutsen VDS.

Mercedes-AMG factory driver Mikäel Grenier will drive GetSpeed’s Bronze Cup-entered #12 AMG GT3 EVO in the Endurance Cup, with the Canadian being joined by GT3 debutant Will Martin and Gabriel Rindone. Rindone, who raced for Lionspeed GP last season, will share the car with Schiller in the Sprint Cup.

The #67 GetSpeed Team Noble Racing entry will also compete in Bronze in the Endurance Cup, with Philip Ellis, Jason Hart and Scott Noble behind the wheel.

Periodic 24 Hours of Spa competitor 75 Express is set to take on the Endurance Cup for the first time, with a Bronze Cup entry. Two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Kenny Habul will share the #75 AMG GT3 EVO with Mercedes-AMG veteran Dominik Baumann and reigning Le Mans Cup LMP3 drivers’ champion Hadrien David.

Grupo Prom Racing Team is new to the GT World Challenge Europe grid, and will field the #177 entry in Bronze in the Endurance Cup for Mercedes-AMG factory driver Ralf Aron, Alfredo Hernandez and Stephane Tribaudini.

Alongside its Pro #48 effort, Winward Racing has once again entered the Bronze Cup. Marvin Dienst and Rinat Salikhov, joined by Gabriele Piana in the Endurance Cup, form an unchanged line-up in the renumbered #87 AMG GT3 EVO which finished on the class podium six times last season, including a victory at Magny-Cours

And following a part-season effort last year, reigning British GT GT3 teams’ champion 2 Seas Motorsport’s #222 AMG GT3 EVO will compete in a full GT World Challenge Europe campaign. British GT drivers’ champions Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss will share the Bronze Cup entry, with Reece Barr added to the line-up for the Endurance Cup events.

Stefan Wendl, head of Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing, commented: “Our line-up for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season reflects the exceptionally high quality of our customer sports programme.

“With its sprint and endurance format, the series is extremely demanding, but we are ready to take on the challenge with a strong driver and team line-up. Our goal is to once again demonstrate the competitiveness of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, achieve top results in both classifications and compete for the title in both the individual classes and the overall standings.”

The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season begins at Circuit Paul Ricard on 10th to 11th April 2026, with a six-hour Endurance Cup event.
