SRO has revealed the provisional entry list for the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe, which once again features a capacity grid.
59 cars are entered into the Endurance Cup, whilst the Sprint Cup has attracted a record 45 entries.
The field once again features 10 manufacturers, with nine of them having at least one Pro entry.
In the Endurance Cup, 17 cars are in Pro, with 8 in the Gold Cup, 16 in the Silver Cup and 18 in the Bronze Cup.
Defending teams’ champion Rutronik Racing has switched to Lamborghini for 2026, and will field one of two brand-new Temerario GT3s in the field. The second car will be run by 2025 24 Hours of Spa winner Grasser Racing Team.
The defending drivers’ champions have all been separated. Patric Niederhauser will pilot Rutronik’s #96 Lamborghini, Alessio Picariello is in Boutsen VDS’ Pro #2 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2), and Sven Müller will compete aboard a Rutronik Porsche in the Bronze Cup.
In Pro, Aston Martin is again represented by one car each from Comtoyou Racing and Walkenhorst Motorsport, whilst Audi makes its Pro class return with a single-car effort from Eastalent Racing.
Three BMW M4 GT3 Evos will compete in Pro, with two cars from Team WRT joined by a single entry from ROWE Racing. AF Corse has entered a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3 Evos, and HRT Ford Racing a single Mustang GT3 Evo.
Garage 59 is present with a McLaren GT3 Evo, whilst three teams will represent Mercedes-AMG. Verstappen Racing, GetSpeed and Winward Racing will each run an AMG GT3 EVO.
Porsches from Boutsen VDS and Lionspeed GP complete the Pro field.
The Gold Cup is made up entirely of single-car efforts.
Boutsen VDS, ROWE Racing, and Garage 59 have added Gold entries to their Pro cars, and they’ll face competition from an Optimum Motorsport McLaren, Steller Motorsport Corvette Z06 GT3.R, Tresor Attempto Racing and CSA Racing McLaren, as well as a Ferrari from newcomer Selected Car Racing.
In Silver, series regulars Optimum Motorsport, GetSpeed, Comtoyou Racing, Team RJN, Team WRT, Walkenhorst Motorsport, Rinaldi Racing, AF Corse, Dinamic GT, Tresor Attempto Racing CSA Racing and Paradine Competition have all entered a single car.
They’re joined by new teams Greystone GT and Razoon – More Than Racing, who will field a McLaren and Porsche respectively.
In Bronze, Kessel Racing will defend its title with a pair of Ferraris. The Swiss squad’s opposition includes 2025 Silver Cup champion Century Motorsport, and series newcomers 75 Express, Grupo Prom Racing Team, Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn and JMW Motorsport.
Blackthorn’s Aston Martin will be driven by Giacomo Petrobelli, Jonny Adam and Lorcan Hanafin.
GetSpeed will field two cars in Bronze, with Comtoyou Racing, Winward Racing, Tresor Attempto Racing, Lionspeed GP, Herberth Motorsport, Ziggo Sport Tempesta, Rutronik Racing, 2 Seas Motorsport and Paradine Competition entering one car each.
14 cars have entered the Sprint Cup in Pro, with Boutsen VDS, Verstappen Racing, Comtoyou Racing, Eastalent Racing, Team WRT, Winward Racing, Garage 59, Lionspeed GP and Rutronik Racing all planning to enter their Endurance Cup cars in the shorter races too.
The Pro entry is then bolstered by a third WRT BMW and two Ferraris from Emil Frey Racing, as well as a single AF Corse Ferrari.
McLaren has the numerical advantage in the Gold Cup, with a single Garage 59 entry joined by two cars from CSA Racing. They’ll face opposition from Boutsen VDS, AF Corse, Tresor Attempto Racing and a VSR Lamborghini.
Comtoyou Racing will defend its Silver Cup title with a single Aston Martin. Opposition comes in the form of two-car efforts from Walkenhorst Motorsport and AF Corse, and single entries from Optimum Motorsport, Pure Rxcing, GetSpeed, Team WRT, Dinamic GT, Tresor Attempto Racing, KPX Motorsport and Razoon – more than racing.
And Kessel Racing has expanded to two cars in the Sprint Cup for its Bronze title defence, whilst GetSpeed, Comtoyou Racing, Dinamic GT, Winward Racing, Tresor Attempto Racing, Lionspeed GP, Ziggo Sport Tempesta, 2 Seas Motorsport and Paradine Competition have one car each.
The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season begins at Circuit Paul Ricard, France on 10th to 11th April 2026, with a six-hour Endurance Cup event. The Sprint Cup opener will be held at Brands Hatch on 2nd to 3rd May 2026.
