2025 Pro-Am class runners-up Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte will return to GT World Challenge Australia this season, as they aim to clinch their maiden series title.
The pair will race an ARGT Ferrari 296 GT3, for their third consecutive campaign with the team formerly known as Arise Racing GT.
Evans and Schutte first teamed up in 2024, when they finished third in Pro-Am with one race victory and three further podium finishes. Their 2025 season began with a Pro-Am class victory at the Bathurst 12 Hour, before four GT World Challenge Australia wins, and four more podiums, saw them lead the Pro-Am drivers’ championship until the final race of the season.
Initially, the #26 Ferrari duo did enough at Hampton Downs to seal the title, but a post-race penalty for a Safety Car restart infringement saw them get overhauled and miss out on the crown by just four points.
“Coming back for a third season with Elliott and ARGT feels pretty special,” Evans said.
“We’ve been knocking on the door for the last couple of years – third in year one, second last year – so naturally we’d love to go one better. The Ferrari 296 is a great car, and the team dynamic is second to none! GT World Challenge Australia is never easy, so we’ll keep our heads down, do the work, and hopefully be right in the fight.”
The 2026 GT World Challenge Australia season begins with the GT Festival at Phillip Island, on 27th to 29th March 2026.
