BMW factory driver Dan Harper and Darren Leung are set to defend their victory at the Silverstone 500, the opening round of the 2026 British GT Championship on 25-26 April, with Paradine Competition.
They are aiming for a third Silverstone 500 win, whilst 2016 Silverstone 500 winner Phil Keen joins 2019 race winner Ian Loggie in a second Paradine-run BMW M4 GT3 Evo.
All four drivers have won the blue riband event at least once, though it was Harper/Leung who beat eventual GT3 Drivers’ champions, Kiern Jewiss and Charles Dawson, in last year’s edition.
The 2023 British GT champions will share Paradine’s #91 BMW entry again, as 2022 champion Loggie reunites with 2024 teammate Keen in the #6 BMW.
Leung, Paradine’s team owner, said: “Everyone at Paradine Competition is super excited to return to the Silverstone 500 again this year.
“It’s been such a great event for our team in the past.
“Of course, the target will be to defend our crown.
“With that in mind, it’s fantastic to be sharing a car with Dan again.
“I’d like to also extend a warm welcome to Ian and Phil, who are new to the team but both bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record.”
Harper added: “I’m very excited to be back with Paradine Competition and Darren for the Silverstone 500.
“This will be our third attempt together.
“We’ve won it both times we’ve gone for it, so that’s a great achievement.
“We’re two of only three drivers to have won it twice, so the goal is straightforward.
“We want to be the only two drivers to have won that race three times.
“Of course, coming off a win last year, we’ll be full of confidence for it.
“We’ve always been a very strong driver pairing, and we know that the Paradine BMW is always very fast.”
Loggie, who took a one-year sabbatical from British GT, said: “I’m looking forward to being back racing again.
“Silverstone is a great track, and the 500 makes it extra special.”
Keen is back in GT3 machinery following the 2025 season, undertaken in a Team Parker Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4.
He is also known for his record tally of 19 overall British GT race victories, surpassed last year by four-time champion Jonny Adam — who claimed his 20th at Spa-Francorchamps — although Keen has two more class victories to his name.
“I’m really pleased to be joining Paradine Competition for the Silverstone 500,” said Keen.
“Silverstone is a great circuit, and it’s always special to have the chance to race there.
“Endurance racing is such a team effort, so for me it’s about bedding in quickly, working well with everyone around me and doing the job as well as I can for the team, and especially for Ian.”
