Genesis Reveals #19 Hypercar Livery

Genesis Magma Racing has revealed the livery which will adorn its #19 GMR-001 Hypercar in this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship.

Instead of the silver featured on the #17 sister car, which was revealed yesterday, the #19 will run with a basalt-black base.

Other changes include a different colour for the Hangeoul detailing on the livery, and the word ‘Genesis’ on the sidepod, both of which will be white on the #19.

The car will be driven by Paul-Loup Chatin, Mathieu Jaminet and Daniel Juncadella.

Just announced – The #19 GMR-001 Hypercar will run a black-based livery in the 2026 FIA WEC season, complementing the ‘liquid metal’ design of the #17 car revealed yesterday.

Hyundai Motor Group president and chief creative officer, Luc Donckerwolke, added: “While working on different solutions and options for the final livery, we landed with two strong candidates during our last test of 2025. One black car with Liquid Metal Hangeul lettering, and one Liquid Metal car with black graphics.

“This inverted solution that was instantly gave us a difficult decision to make. We looked at the feedback online and we quickly realised that by choosing just one livery we would have disappointed a good portion of our fans.”

Genesis will make its FIA WEC debut later this month, at the season-opening 6 Hours of Imola, on 17th to 19th April 2026.
