Verstappen In Attendance For World Challenge Europe Prologue

Four-time Formula 1 world drivers’ champion Max Verstappen is in attendance for today’s GT World Challenge Europe Prologue test at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The Dutchman arrived at the circuit during the lunch break with Daniel Juncadella, one of the drivers who will pilot Verstappen Racing’s #3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO in the Endurance Cup this season.

Having competed in the Gold Cup last year, Verstappen Racing is stepping up to the Pro class for the first time in 2026, with Juncadella joining Jules Gounon and Chris Lulham at the 2 Seas Motorsport-run effort.

Juncadella and Gounon, alongside Lucas Auer, are also set to drive alongside Verstappen in this year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Verstappen therefore makes it two active Formula 1 drivers in the paddock today, with Lance Stroll testing the #18 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo he is set to race this weekend.
