Car Collection Motorsport’s Joel Sturm was fastest in this evening’s Warm-Up session, the final track time ahead of the 2026 24 Hours of Spa.
The German, piloting the Pro-Am-entered #8 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) set a 2:18.445 on his first flying lap, a time which would go unthreatened throughout the remainder of the of the 30-minute session.
Second went to the Gold Cup #99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi of Alex Aka, 0.195 seconds off Sturm, with Fabian Schiller’s #17 Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed AMG GT3 EVO in third.
The #48 Mercedes-AMG Team Mann-Filter entry was fourth, ahead of the #0 Johor Motorsports Group JMR Corvette Z06 GT3.R, with the #74 Kessel Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo heading the Bronze Cup in sixth overall courtesy of a 2:19.171 from Ben Tuck.
The #89 Lionspeed GP Porsche was seventh, with the #12 GetSpeed Team Dubai Mercedes-AMG eighth, whilst Cesar Gazeau topped the Silver Cup in the sister #6 GetSpeed Team Bartone Bros AMG in ninth overall.
The #87 Winward Racing entry made it five Mercedes-AMGs in the top 10.
The #46 Team WRT BMW was amongst the cars using the Warm-Up to experiment with a new set-up option, as the Belgian squad looked to address understeer in the middle sector. On a similar note, Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing ensured Daniel Juncadella received some track time, with the #3 AMG GT3 EVO having undergone a set-up tweak since the Spaniard was last behind the wheel.
The session ran without incident, although for the first time this week we saw the track declared wet, with drops of rain starting to fall before the session, and intensifying throughout, although the track was never wet enough to warrant experimenting with anything other than Pirelli’s slick compound.
64 cars took to the circuit, with the #20 Team Motopark Mercedes-AMG, #28 HAAS RT Audi, #45 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari, #64 HRT Ford and #96 Rutronik Racing Lamborghini not featuring.
The 2026 24 Hours of Spa will start at 16:30 CEST tomorrow.
