Qualifying for the IMSA Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen has been postponed until 6:15 PM ET due to track repairs at Watkins Glen International.
During the preceding Michelin Pilot Challenge series race, a piece of the kerb at the Inner Loop chicane came apart in the last ten minutes of the two-hour race, causing significant damage to one of the front-running Grand Sport (GT4) cars.
Instead of running at its scheduled start time of 3:40 PM ET, qualifying will now take place after the conclusion of Race 2 of Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America.
