27 Cars For GT4 Australia At Darwin

27 cars have been entered for this weekend’s fourth round of the 2026 GT4 Australia Series at Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin.

The field is split between 12 cars in Silver, seven in Silver-Am and eight in Am for the series’ first visit to the Northern Territory venue.

The #1 Gomersall Motorsport Ford Mustang GT4 of defending Silver-Am drivers’ champions Aaron Seton and Jason Gomersall is set to return after missing the previous round at Queensland, following their accident at The Bend earlier this year.

Also returning is the #118 Method Motorsport Ford, another entry which was involved in an accident at The Bend. Dean Campbell will be joined by new co-driver Cody Burcher in the Silver-Am effort.

“The support from my sponsors, Chaz Mostert and Aaron Reed at Method Motorsport, and everyone involved with the team has been incredible. Their encouragement and hard work have been a huge motivation in getting us back on the grid, and I’m really grateful for everything they’ve done,” Campbell said.

“I also have to acknowledge the incredible efforts of Multimatic in Canada, in particular Sean Mason, who played a big role in working with the Method Motorsport guys and helping get the Ford Mustang fixed – without his work, there is no telling if I would be back for this event.

“As for Cody, he is someone I’ve had a lot of respect for since I first met him. He’s a very capable driver and a proven race winner in the series, and just as importantly, a genuinely good person. When he became available, I thought he was the perfect fit for what we’re trying to achieve.

“I also spoke to Tim Leahey about Cody and he couldn’t speak more highly of him. That gave me even more confidence that he’d be a great addition to the team. I’m looking forward to working with him and hopefully he can help me move back up the standings.”

After victory in Race 2 at Queensland aboard the #25 Method Motorsport McLaren, Tom Hayman and Jett Murray head to Darwin in the lead of the Silver drivers’ championship.

The pair sit 11 points clear of #227 Multispares Racing Ford duo Cameron McLeod and Mason Harvey, who lead a group of four crews covered by just six points.

Ryder Quinn is alone at the top of the Silver-Am standings, with the #3 Thunder Bunnies Racing/Black Diamond BMW driver having competed alongside multiple co-drivers this season.

Quinn has a 24-point advantage over the #75 Tufflift Racing by TSM Mclaren of Zac Soutar and Glenn Nirwan.

And in Am, Method Motorsport’s #64 Porsche crew of Chris Lillis and Nathan Callaghan lead #14 Gomersall Motorsport Ford driver Glenn Walker by 10 points.

Alongside leading two of the drivers’ contests, Method Motorsport also tops the teams’ championship at the halfway stage of the season, with 114 points compared to the 69 of Multispares Racing.

Running at Hidden Valley Raceway begins with a pair of Practice sessions on Friday 24th July, ahead of Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday 25th. Race 2 will then take place on Sunday 26th July 2026.
