Alex Brundle brings dad Martin and uncle Robin back to Snetterton with newly restored Celica Liftback

Here’s a cracking video from Alex Brundle and Brundle Motorsport.

Alex’s historic race team have spent months restoring the family-owned 1980 Toyota Celica liftback that was campaigned in its heyday by Alex’s late Grandfather John, Dad, F1 legend, 1988 World Sportscar Champ and 1990 Le Mans winner Martin and Uncle Robin, an ex-racer himself alongside senior management positions at Aston Martin Racing and Lola.

The trio contested the 1980 and 1981 Willhire 24 Hours at Snetterton in the car, scoring back to back wins in Commanders Cup (for the record number of laps achieved in 24 hours in a production car of that capacity).
