Duqueine Academy To Return For 2027

The Duqueine Academy by Debard Automobiles is set to return for 2027, following a successful first running of the programme this year.

The scheme will grant one driver €150,000 towards a 2027 racing programme aboard a Duqueine D09 – Toyota LMP3 in an ACO-labelled championship.

The programme is open to drivers under the age of 25, who have previously competed in a full-season of LMP3 competition aboard a Duqueine D09.

These drivers will then undergo a multi-stage assessment programme to determine with the winner, starting with an initial application review. Selected candidates will then participate in a dedicated two-day shootout at Pôle Mécanique d’Alès, France on 23rd and 24th November 2026.

The participants will be assessed on their performance, consistency, technical debriefing and understanding of the car, with the winner announced within seven days of the shootout.

The 2026 winner of the prize, Jules Caranta, spent this season racing with Nielsen Racing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup. The Frenchman put together multiple standout drivers, including a charge through the field at Spa-Francorchamps and qualifying on the front row at Portimão.

Caranta is set to contest a full-season of IMSA LMP3 Endurance with Forbush Performance in 2027, building on a part-season with the Duqueine customer team in North America this year.
