2017 winner Triple Eight Race Engineering will return to the Bathurst 12 Hour next year, with a Ford Mustang GT3 Evo entered into GT3 Pro.
The Australian outfit last competed in the 12 Hour in 2024, when it ran a pair of Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs. Since then, it has made a high-profile switch from Chevrolet to Ford machinery in its primary race programme, the Supercars Championship, making the Mustang GT3 Evo the obvious choice of equipment for its Bathurst 12 Hour return.
Triple Eight Supercars drivers Broc Feeney and Will Brown will both form part of the driving talent, with the third driver currently unconfirmed.
This will be the pair’s second Bathurst 12 Hour together, following on from a sixth-place finish with Triple Eight in 2024.

Feeney, who finished third with Triple Eight in the 2022 Bathurst 12 Hour, was one of the drivers who brought the Mustang GT3 to The Mountain for the first time earlier this year.
The 24-year-old shared a HRT Ford Racing-run entry with Christopher Mies and Dennis Olsen, but was unable to drive in the race following Mies’ now infamous collision with a kangaroo in the opening hour
“The 12 Hour is one of my favourite races every year, I always look forward to it,” Feeney said.
“I was lucky enough to pair up with the international guys and drive the Ford for the first time this year at the start of the year. Lots left on the table there, unfortunately I didn’t get to do a lap of the race because of the kangaroo hit… but stoked to be going back for another crack especially with Triple Eight.
“[I’ve had] some good experiences around Bathurst in a GT car – I think I started on the front row three years in a row, we’ve been in shootouts, and I would love to get a pole position in one of those cars around my favourite track.”
Two-time Invitational class winner Brown, meanwhile, will be seeking a maiden overall podium after back-to-back fourth-place finishes.
Ford is the fourth different manufacturer the 28-year-old will represent at the Bathurst 12 Hour in as many years, having raced Mercedes-AMG, Ferrari and Audi machinery across the past three editions.
“We love racing at Bathurst, love racing the 12 Hour each year, now to do it with Triple Eight and in a Mustang, that’s really exciting!” Brown declared.
“Obviously Broc drove something similar to that car last year, I saw it on track and it looked fast. It’s a great opportunity to keep doing bigger things with Ford and take that car out around The Mountain.
“It’s cool to be driving in the same car as Broc again as well – we work so closely together during the season as a team but it’s our own cars, our own gear, our own crew. We’re all in it together for this and that’s going to be an awesome experience.”
As Brown alluded to, the Triple Eight Mustang will be slightly different to the car which HRT fielded this year, with the the Mustang GT3 now equipped with the Evo kit introduced at the beginning of this season, but not run at the Bathurst 12 Hour.
The 2027 Bathurst 12 Hour, the opening round of the 2027 Intercontinental GT Challenge season, will be held on the weekend of 12th to 14th February 2026.
