We heard at the WEC Prologue that there was set to be a change made to the route of the Friday Driver’s Parade in Le Mans city centre and that is now confirmed by a story in Le Maine Libre.
The newspaper explains that the parade will divert away from the tunnel (above), “For reasons of security (safety),” though it is not completely clear whether this relates to current security fears, or to public safety around large numbers of people in confined areas, or elements of both.
